2.0ltr twin spark & ford type 9 gearbox

Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me if a conversion plate is available to mate a 2.0ltr Twin spark engine to a Ford type 9 (early Sierra) gearbox?

I have a kit car with a x-flow fitted at present, but I have been offered a MOT failure '83 75 twin spark cheap, and I would like to transfer the engine.

Hi Glenn
Try FlowTech (FloTech??) Engineering. I trust they are still in existence, but couldn't find a weblink, they are on the south coast somewhere I think.
They used to supply all the Caterham boxes, and are bell housing specialists. I suspect you are looking at a one off though, which won't be cheap.
I have a Flowtech alloy bellhousing and top cover on my Type-9 box and they are nice bits of kit.

Maybe Caterham could give you their details??
