Re: Wheel centre caps
I bought some last year from a guy on E-bay, they are really badly designed and one of them had a clip broken in the post. He did send the shallow versions first which were a softer plastic (ABS?) and were much better but didn't really fit properly though they may have been OK with a bit of work. Had I know the deeper version would be so brittle I probably would have worked on them to make them fit, mine were missing so I had no idea they were such Cr*p!
I riveted some additional metal clips on as I was not happy to put them on and lose them in 5 minutes especially at the price I paid.
To be honest I'm not a revolution fan, they look fine but evidently a lot went back under warranty when the cars were new and they seem to be a bit soft. I had to straighten one of mine when I bought the car, though I haven't managed to damage any since, mine are 14 inch and the 15's must be more vulnerable. I will probably look out for some 15 in rims in the future as the choice of 14 in tyres is a bit restrictive but would be happier with Compomotives myself.
