It's an easy job to replace the tank, it's only held in by 3 bolts. So long as they come out no problem, all you have to do is disconnect the filler neck from inside the boot (seperate it from the petrol tank at the boot floor) Then disconnet the sender unit wires (located at the front of the tank) Sometimes these can be a bit corroded so be careful they dont break.
When I done mine I couldnt get the sender unit wires of the tank, so I had to take it out and put it inside the new one. But even that was'nt difficult.
Thats it (as i remember) easy!
