Hi Congrats on your 75. I also recentlyaquired a 75 ('86 with reconditioned 3litre)
Heating problems? I got mine last Queensland, Australia summer and attemted to drive it home in peak hour. Didn't get far
As it turned out, too long at a traffic light was enough to stress me out. my solution was a 4 core all brass job ($AU550). With a new thermostat instant peace of mind. Probably overkill for UK
Was happy getting rid of plastic crap radiator so maybe a smaller handmade job is worth considering..
Brakes. I found my brakes to be weird at first but there is no doubt that they can stop you
There are two old ladies who will attest to that, after finding themselves in the wrong lane, going the wrong way.
I could see the whites of their very startled eyes
Stopped on a dime, on a blind curve, vision obscured by a cement truck on my inside lane, and not a squeak ot of the rather sad tyres. So I'm a convert
Love my brakes although much need work to the rear brakes is expensive. Already spent a bit but still not satisfied so the whoe lot will have to be fully worked, grind/replace discs, recondition/replace cylinders, hoses etc.
Sorry for the rave, car is in getting front suspension/steering done so I'm at a loose end and bored
PS going for Boge rather than Koni. Think Koni is exploiting thir name.
Will see how they go and report.
