Cold weather starting

Forgot to put my 75 away before it snowed - any tips on extra precautions before starting after the locks have un-frozen enough for me to be able to get in....?

Extension cable and hair dryer.... Remove excess snow and defrost using the blower on the locks and around the door seals...
Before turning the key in the ignition , do the same... Once ignition is on allow the fuel pump to finish its priming cycle, turn off and repeat.... Don't press accelerator and fire here up

Leave the snow on it. Looks a damned sight more aerodynamic than a stock 75. That lot ought to be good for another 5mph on the top end.

This happened to me a couple of years ago. I've never had a problem starting the car. Just start it as normal and let it warm up for a few mins before driving / moving if you're worried. Prob best to brush off the snow first though!

I last started it before Christmas, brushed snow off as suggested - there wasn't much - and it started first turn of the key.

The thaw starts tomorrow so next weekend will be playtime......

Start it, let it idle until cabin is a bit warm, then brush it with non scratchable brush, snow should just slide off with a little help.
