URGENT: opening the fuel cap.

Probably the most stupid question:

But how do you open the fuel cap the only key that i was given was the starter key so I'm gathering that is what is used to open the fuel flap? I tried twisting it both clockwise and anti-clockwise only to be left scratching my head.

Coming from someone that lives and breathes Alfa this is probably my darkest moment in terms of embarrassment.

Saluti, Giordano.

No worries, after two hours i managed to figure out that in order for you to open the fuel cap, you need to lock it and turn it anti-clockwise before it clicks out?

Typical Alfa, needing to be different

Gees, i mean with no offence to Alfa, its a crappy set up. I had a fear that i would snap the key which would lead to more problems

I had exactly this problem on my first drive in my SZ on the way home from buying it - embarrassing as hell. Luckily I had a friend with me who helped me work it out.
