Alfa 75 3.0 V6

Hey forum.

Just registered today, wanted to say hi.

I am a 75TS owner, living in Cheltenham, and Sheffield depending on the time of year. And could I be the youngest at an age of 20?

I have owned the car since september, and have had great fun in driving around and learing the various quirks of owning an alfa romeo. And also dealing with the urge not to throw money in upgrading it! Thats the hardest bit.

Still though what a fantastic car, and the best bit about it is the rarity, I love the fact that I haven't seen another on my travels yet! That makes it all the more cooler.

Hope you guys can help me with various problems that I KNOW will turn up at any future moment.

Re: Hey forum.

Welcome to AO. I hope your 75 will stay problemfree for a long time, but some of us can give advice if something does go wrong.

I would suggest you start looking for pictures of your 75, because Hugo (aka Throttleman) will certainly ask for them.

Re: Hey forum.

Howdy. Welcome aboard.

I saw five 75s yesterday, though they were all at the workshop of the specialist who looks after mine.

Re: Hey forum.

there are a whole bunch of forums and each one has its particular quirks and many people post on more than one

mostly americans and good for V6 stuff

AROC-UK forum

probably the original transaxle forum, just been moved but the old posts are still available and have tons of knowledge hidden away

yahoo group, probably the most international group

when spares are needed give these guys a call

and if the services of a mechanic are needed ask on the AROC-UK forum for local recomendations

have fun

Re: Hey forum.

I've actually use all those forums, this is the latest I have registered to, I only stumbled on it by accident. Thanks anyway, they are all very useful places to go, and am going to be either doing the brakes or suspension depending on what i want more from EB in the new year.

I already have a quick question for you guys, if anyone knows.

This morning, and what a cold morning it was, when I turned the key to start the motor there was a big thud that shook the car, coming from the near righthand side of the bonnet. Where the injectors are I presume, it shook the whole car. The car started fine and drove like normal. Any ideas what it could have been?
