It has been for sale for about 6 months, just reading about it on another forum. It is dreamers money. Never seen one for sale in the UK before, must be extremely rare.

There are 1 or 2 in uk at the moment. The price is a bit high but then in the same breath 75's are getting rare now and prices are finally starting to climb but not that high

One must be very-very careful when intending to buy an Evo! Metal plates and rivets are easy to move around and some tell-tale parts are relatively easy to find, like the special airbox. Your best bet is to make sure the engine block number (01658) is genuine and if at all possible ...remove the front disks and verify the spindle -inner bearing ID- is 31mm thick (all other turbos and 3liter cars have 29mm). Evos had orange tail lights and indicators and the old style (first series) instruments among other details. Here are some more cars for you in various prices and states. If you speak Italian, so much the better!

Here's a funny story about a 75 Turbo with an Evo engine in Greece; happened about 10 years ago...This car comes in and wants a full rebuild. The garage orders the usual stuff and upon trial fitting the new pistons in the old liners (?) they can't put them in! They almost got in a fight with the parts people and took all of them a while to figure what the hell was going on. Good thing I happened to drop by that afternoon...Nobody knew the Evo had a bore of 79.6mm and not 80mm like the std 1.8T. This gave a capacity of 1762cc in order to fall just short of the 3liter class when multiplied by 1.7 (the turbo factor back in the 1987 days). Needless to say, the car in question was rebuilt with the std 80mm pistons/liners and all was well! However, those Evo engines (06158) had beefier blocks and bearing caps -so says Alfa!

A dream 75.
Perfect.
And what would one buy for that kind of money? A hot hatch, an sell it in 3 years time for less than half of the purchase price?
I wonder, were all 500 lhd ?
