Alfa 75 Turbo - F835 TLW

Does any one know any history about the car above? Alfa America 1.8 Turbo F835 TLW.

Only a few owners and off the road since 2008.

I have just bought it from a scrap yard (yes really!) in Exeter. It's not bad condition, rust in the normal places, arches, sills etc. Its got a sick engine, believed to be big ends.

In the past someone has spent a bit on money on it, silicon hoses, dump value, very clean alloys, matching Toyo tyres etc. It has a Veloce front bumper and Veloce front wings.

I'm hoping to restore / modify it to a good road car, we'll see.

Thanks

Dave

Alfa 75 Turbo - F835 TLW

Hi

I Know this car, it used to belong to the Roy Beale who ran AutoItaliana in Exeter
Not sure how it ended up in the scrap yard but it needed the bigends sorting and a crank regrind

I believe it was bought from EB spares !!!

cheers

Cheers Daryl

Thats very interesting, as it looks as if the car has had some money spent on it. The Revolution wheels look pretty new, as they are in very good condition.

It's been in a small scrap yard for about 7-8 months that i know of. The guy who owns the scrap yard kept ringing me every month to see if I wanted it. I kept putting hin off, until last week. Went down and bought it for a bit less than he wanted.

It is missing the sump and oil pick up, so I presume it has crank / big end problems. The scrap yard guy also thought he was told big end problems.

I'm wondering if it has had a Squadra chip, as this is the first thing you'd do if you had a turbo!!

I'll post a few more photo's when I get a chance.

Thanks

Dave
