Gearbox rebuild

Well folk's looks like I may end up having to have gearbox rebuilt. When i bought the car it had sinthetic oil in it,as well as the engine, had them replaced and now have crunchiness in 2nd ,3rd when cold .When its warmed up,its a little touchy in 3rd,2nd o.k. But no quick change as this sounds really bad when changing from 2nd to 3rd.Its a bit depressing as im usin the money i wanted to spend on the engine, that will have to wait . so its off to the garage again soon,Im going to austria, earn some pennies towards it.

"So have a good run folk's"

Re: Gearbox rebuild

try to use good oil before replacing/flipping the synchros on 2nd and 3rd...
it did wonders with some of my freinds gearboxes
and if you do have the money, and you are openning the box, lighten the gears
