Alfa 75 imsa evoluzione racing

Hi All

I am interested in the racing history of the Alfa 75 imsa evoluzione.
From what I can find on the net the car raced in 1987/88 world touring cars (ITC) and ETC in what looked like a fairly unmodified externally body shape. See photo 1

Alfa Romeo 75 Turbo - Photo Gallery - Racing Sports Cars

What I am more interested in is the racing history of the gorgeous much more modified version see photo 2. I am guessing this car raced in the Giro d'italia (Italian touring car championship??)looking at the sticker on the side of the car but did it racing in anything else in this form???

Fairly unmodified??LOL,iI am still waiting to see some of the required for homologation road examples
It raced in various national and international championships from 1987-1992.
Actuall IMSA were just a handfull the rest were group A or evoluzione S1.
We actually prepared and raced three different ones in those years(still have a rally group N turbo) .

Thanks for the info.
By fairly unmodified in did say in my post the external body shape. I know only too well that the rest of the car is far from a road car I build race cars for a living lol.
Do you know what the IMSA version was raced in other than Giro d'italia?? I am guessing the IMSA name had nothing to do with racing in IMSA in the states??

Even the body of the IMSA is drastically different to standard, much more so than the highly modified S1 group, ones.
You really cannot tell from that picture.
If i get a minute I will try and find some pictures ,but I will have to scan them to upload them.
