rear hub removal help!!!!!!

Hi guys as stated need help urgently, I have removed the de-dion and taken out the gearbox and removed the driveshafts incl. the splined shafts from the hub section,now I need to get the hubs off in order to replace the bearings, I also only have basic tools,and a big hammer which has helped with the other jobs so far
Has somone got some ideas for me before I start hammering away at it and maybe damage the hubs

before breaking out the biggest hammer you can find, the de dion has a threaded section that keeps the bearings in place, it's all to easy to damage them with excessive force and then you will need a whole new de dion triangle.

These people to a copy of the correct tool

Aftermarket Tools for your Alfa Romeo TwinSpark, JTS, JTD, V6 and Twin Cam Engines

so you should be able to do the job much more easily for little extra outlay. Here:
