75 TS oil filter

I need to change the oil on my 75 2.0 TS, are there any filters that I should avoid, is there one make that is better than any other? And what oil would anyone care to recommend?

Re: 75 TS oil filter

i had to resort to Fram filters since Alfa disscontinued their filter for the V6
As for the TS i don't know, i would imagine you can still buy OE

As for the slippery stuff, i ALWAYS use "silkolene" now known as "Fuchs", i don't like castrol, had problems when running that stuff.
Don't go any better than semi tho

Re: 75 TS oil filter

The new filter I've fitted is smaller than the one I took off.... Should I change it again?

Re: 75 TS oil filter

I think it will be ok.
Do you know size, brand and part no. details?

I don't think the original large filter is required due to improvements in oil and fuel. Also, I doubt if anyone one here changes their oil every 12K as per service book.
