Pain ????

Well bit the bullet and the car is off to BLS at Lincoln soon for major work.I have now had the O/S front jacking point replaced (cut out and let in rather than plated).Now a new Radiator,brake balance valve,brakes and pipes,exhaust fettled and MOT are waiting for me.I wonder what that lot will cost...here's hoping I dont have to remortgage!!

Well, finally got the car back on Tuesday from BLS at Lincoln.Well pleased with the results (if not the bill), brakes much better after new Ferodo's front and back and balance valve from EMC .Temperature now fine after new Rad and sender (delivered from Italy) .Exhaust realigned and new rubbers fitted to get it more central.Cam covers removed and exhaust valve clearances adjusted ,now much quieter running.Came back from Lincoln in a fairly good time and must say that I enjoyed the drive despite the horrendous wet weather.
