Headlmp Washer Jet Relay
So after rebuilding the headlamp washer pump, replumbing the bumper, and fitting a new washer jet - I can make the headlamp washers wash using a wire to the big headlamp washer relay on the inner wing. Now it seems these relays are wired so that the washer activates for a short time, when the sidelights are on, and you use the regular windscreen washer.
I have three of these relays, and each one has a thermister and a timing capacitor in - does anyone know if the pulse width is supposed to be modified by the ambient temperature? Because at room temperature, one of my relays doesn't work at all, one gives a fraction of a second, and the other one occasionally gives a second, when it feels like it.
So, anyone know how they are actually supposed to work?
