They were with Harmen van Putten who had a genuine IMSA with the factory turbo engine.
I know his team mate Bob van der Sluis is sadly no longer around, but I'm not sure if Harmen still is.
But I expect his moulds are now with these people: ALFA 75 IMSA
Got any ideas what size and offset wheels I'll need ?
Originally they were 17" x 10" I think.
With 245/620-17 Front and 245/640-17 Rear Pirelli slicks. (at least, that is what the one in the museum had on!)
Most moved to 18" rims later.
The arches are VERY wide.
The offset from the centre-lock cars won't relate to normal 4/5-stud offset, so you may need to work it out yourself.
To get the required offset you may be better off looking at something custom made or split rims.
It may look odd with a very wide track but wheels that clearly spaced a long way out.
Do you have any local regs re very wide spacers?
