Here is my proud beauty. Only comes out in the dry weather now. About three days a year then! Hope the pic works OK.

Re: Car of the year

Lovely cars guys!!!

It's really rare for them not be red back in France, and I don't think I've ever seen a white one. It looks stunning!

Re: Car of the year

OK Vantastic, see the attached. Hopefully they're better.

I've owned the car for 8.5 years now and it only comes out in the dry weather. The car is original apart from some minor cosmetic repairs and the Recaro interior. The car drives pretty much perfectly with a near perfect gearbox - I'm very fussy. The car is highly cherished and probably only covers 2-3,000 miles a year. If I had to describe the condition, it would be near concours. The car won 'Best Alfa 75' at the National AROC day at Kettering in 2005 when it was the 20th anniversary of the Alfa 75.

The previous owner fitted a new instrument cluster so I'm not 100% sure of the mileage but would estimate it to be at 120k by now.

If my head ruled my heart, I should sell it as I've got a 166 3.0 Super as well (see avatar) but I don't think I'd be able to handle seeing it at future Alfa events under someone elses ownership!

It'll be at the Auto Italia event at Brooklands tomorrow weather permitting.

I am desperate for a Zender front spoiler for my 166. Please let me know if you have one or know of one for sale. Colour and condition not important!

Re: Car of the year

I'll probably be in Brooklands.
I'll come and say hello if I see you around your car. You see, it would look perfect with me as new owner!

Cool, hopefully see you there! I'm going to try and park in the Alfa bit rather than on the banked track at the back.

Agreed! (black ((van)) and white ((UM)), both ends of the spectrum )

As for the fare and few between, there are 2 other 75's in my area (maybe 3 but yet to see it) i don't know any of the owners
One is black (very clean, often seen in Kesgrave) one is dark grey (spotted in Hasketon, nr Woodbridge, could be the black one, not sure it was a rainy day and it was parked 100 yards away) and the other red (not so clean apparently ive been told but spotted in Ipswich town centre trying to drift )

I have only seen one other 75 in my area (North east) was red and not seen it again I think the 75 is now a very rare site on the roads and now very collectable as one of the lsat real rear wheel drive alfas
