Order of 4C

Dear all
I am planning to order the 4C. Does anyone know if the chairs are tighted directly on the chassis alike Gumpert Apollo . AS i saw the pictures from web it does and it would resulted into very uncomfortable if the shock are directly transferred to yr body. Anyone knows??

Did you expect them to be on hydraulic shock absorbers like in a bus? I certainly hope they are mounted directly to the chassis.

might be interesting to fit sorbothane pads and washers, but suspect the collision rigidity might be compromised

Sorry to rain on your parade but I doubt very much this car will be comfortable. If you're looking for a cosseting ride but sports car looks try the Mitsuoka Orochi

He didn't say it needed to be a Rolls Royce, he was just saying he didn't want it to be uncomfortable.

Firstly, light and stiff cars can generally be more softly sprung than you'd expect, because they don't have as much weight or flex to keep in check,

Secondly, in terms of a reasonably comfortable sports car, Lotus and Porsche do cars that fit the bill, so there's nothing stopping Alfa.

Actually, he meant to ask if the seats on the production 4C would be integrated in the tub, like they are in the concept and in the Gumpert Apollo: http://www.largus.fr/images/images/033_Alfa_4C.jpg http://www.roogio.com/images/Gumpert...ng-details.jpg

The answer to that question is no.
