Goodwood Festival of Speed

Got our tickets for Goodwood Festival of Speed from Alfa.
Looking forward to going very much.

But do you think they will let me test drive the Alfa 4C,
and do some doughnut maneuvers,
creating a circular skid-mark pattern of rubber and possibly even cause the tires to emit smoke from friction on the track ?
I hope so, i will ask in any case.
Carnt wait to go, anyone else going to see the Alfa Romeo 4C ?
It just looks and sounds like the almighty would drive such a car.

Hi All,
I thought all you cloverleaf members would like to know:-

1. Take your cloverleaf membership card with you. You should be able to get complementorary drinks 08:00 - 11:30 & 14:30 - 18:00 on the Alfa stand. I have this in my letter with my Thursday tickets and it's also on the cloverleaf site.

If your going on the Thursday, take your driving licence and you might be able to get to drive some cars up the hill climb . I had to go as a passenger last year because i didn't take mine

2 tickets for Thursday from Cloverleaf arrived last Thursday (i entered comp in mag and online).
They then phoned me up yesterday to see if i wanted tickets and i could have chosen any day.
Didn't want to be greedy so told them to offer them to someone else

There were 20 - 24 manufactures there last year with 4 or 5 (in Audi's case about 8 R8's) of there current cars.
It's been named the moving motor show, so it is a sales exercise of sorts.
You can't book in advance of Thursday, however you will need to book a time slot on the day so get there early.

The expensive cars are invitation only, so i doubt you will get into a Ferrari, Lotus or R8, but may be able to go in a camaro.

Off the top of my head last year there was Alfa, Arbarth, Chrysler, Ford, Peugeot, Citroen, Mercades, Bentley, Ferrari, Audi, Lotus, Honda, MG, BMW etc.

My membership card was in my welcome pack that i was given when i took delivery of my Giulietta 3 months ago.

If you are a member and have misplaced your card, phone the helpline number on the cloverleaf site and they will make a note of you so when you get on the alfa stand you should be able to get in. (i was told this on monday when they phoned me).

Last year there was an accident so the layout may have changed a little.
Fingers crossed it's a good & sunny day, and this year will be accident free
