Dead dash on Sprint.

Final electrical problem to solve to get my 1988 model Sprint back on the road. 33 16v engine fitted and running sweet thanks to some help and advise on here. Dash board is dead with no warning lights or gauges working. The only wire I have not connected is a green wire from the alternator, does this connect somewhere behind the dash? Thanks.

The green wire is between the charging fault dash light and the alternator exc. terminal.
