Anywayz, Kev car isnt looking at it's best now, sorry for telling you. I'm sure its from bad pictures.
Couldnt help notising. You havn't undersealed the car ?
Also those wheels dont look so good
....yeah I know... you hate me right now....
we are all nutters too mate, don't worry
agree car looking far from its best, i nearly didn't put the pics up as they do nothing to flatter it, more like a backwards step
however they were taken straight after the car was machine compounded which still had a residue on it all over and hadn't been properly wiped off. was going today to do it but jim was out, going in the morning now so should get some bettre pics which do
do it justice
undersealing ? do you mean inside the car? inside the wheel-arches has been done, the fronts have had several layers then been painted, the rears have had the stoneguard but not the red paint yet. inside the car (floors/sills/wheels arches etc) will get plenty of stoneguard then possibly paint, but 100% plenty of waxoyl
the wheels do look rubbish yes
haven't laid a finger on them yet. they will get the usual treatment and should end up ok. i will be sticking with the original style wheels as i do like them
mate, i would much rather you said what you think than butter me up with false comments
i agree it looks cr*p at the moment, but it will get better
did get a few bits done today. started to clean and paint the metal work for around the rear side window seals. got the door locks sorted out so they work ok, a bit siezed but due to a good coat of old waxoyl so nothing too bad. the door handles were stripped down, cleaned & greased then polished up ready for fitting, first making sure i had the right ones that fit the keys as i have 2 or 3 sets
then decided to paint the front strut pieces with the black enamel paint ready for them to be rassembled next week. will soon need them to bring the car home
can't wait to get it home so i can get cracking. will be easier when i can walk out of the door and do things, rather than have to arrange things with jim. he has been great though, put in far more hours on the car than he allowed for, i owe him huge
plus i have the lancia prisma i am buying off him to check over before it goes for the MOT
busy busy busy
