Picked it up on sunday.. the wettest day i could've..
Grossmont, if anyone has heard of it is not far from Whitby, its on the same train line as Pickering.. bloody hilly, nice trains though..
well buying, checking out the alfa was soo easy.. getting up the hills out of the village was a nightmare. one was a 33% hill the other a mild 30% has anyone tried towing a 33 on a trailor? with a pug 307? 1.4? it wasn't having it.. my fiancee was so scared of falling, so i had to get a 4x4 to tow it out for me.
the journey back was 'ok' had to do an extra 50 miles to miss out the biggest hills, but all in all it took from 9am till 11pm for the whole thing..
tiresome.. havent tried starting it yet, havent even seen it since sunday night. might go this weekend to see if its any good, haha
seems fair enough though, the usual bits, but only the bubbling round the fuel cap i noticed and the exhaust hanging off the back if i was picky..
will get some pics soon!
on another note, did anyone go to auto-italia one the weekend?
