Happy New Year... any new years resolutions?

I hope everyone has a prosperous New Year.

I have a couple or three of resolutions for this year, get the race car painted, the GTA brakes fitted and stopping properly and progress the supercharger project. Anyone else have any plans?

I'd like fit a better brake booster on my 33, an old idea I was thinking about,
to get a less heavy brake pedal as in recent cars, as the original 7'' single booster
is really too small for the car weight..

I'll try 7'' dual booster from smart 2007 / old ford transit:
New old Stock FORD BOSCH Brake Servo, BRAKE BOOSTER sorry no idea what it fits | eBay
as it has the same diameter of the original from Alfa 33, only few mods are required,
but there are some trouble in adapting a correct master cylinder with 20,6mm inner diameter
(the one directly compatible from bmw M3 is 23,8mm diameter, as the one from Smart,
the one from Transit is 25mm, both too much for a 33 with
not up-grated disk brake calipers, so I'll try to adapt some more common master
cylinder regulating the brake booster push rod length if possible, as
there is 10mm push rod length difference between the two standards)

or a common 8'' single booster (the very common Bosch/Bendix type,
most european cars used this type and bits are all compatible)
from some small '90 or '00 car, for example one of these:
Servo Frein Bosch (sans ABS) RENAULT CLIO partir de 1998 | eBay
you will have to mod the pedals box but
here many different types of master cylinders
easily available and directly compatible

or this 8" single booster (TRW PSA343) used on some old small citroen:
(it requires a specific master cylinder type,
and there is one that probably will be ok on 33)

I' have not a space where to work and little time, I hope I will do it next summer,
actually I'm studying the project and preparing materials,
there is a working progress thread, also if you cannot read italian text,
it has some self-explaning pictures (I hope I can link it here):
Alfa 33: modifica servofreno - brake booster upgrade!

I share the idea so may be someone else will work on it,
finding more different ways to do this small upgrade..

..I also was uncomfortable on 33 seats, very few space,
it was better after having moved back steering wheel
and gear shift knob about 4cm so I could move back
also seats and get some more space..but this small mods was
some time ago, so for me is not valuable for next year proposal
