try to get some cross drilled or vented discs for your car which i think will be hard or get hold of a 33 for parts and change your brakes to outboard from the 33 as my brother done a few years on his sud ti .

It is possible to upgrade the inboard solid discs to inboard vented discs but it isn't simple.
I think it uses a Mazda pickup disc, you need to split the calipers and fit spacers in the centre. But you then obviously need longer pad retaining clips.

Or you could just fit a modern performance pad such as Ferodo DS2500 and keep the std solid discs.

Re: Advice on disc/pad upgrades please

Out of interest "green cloverleaf pat" the inboard disks also have the handbrake built in, did your Brother change to 33 drums at the back?

I have been looking at fitting 33 parts on my Clan Clover but wondering what to do about the hand brake. I did find that callipers from RallyDesign they have a alloy unit at 65 with a mechanical handbrake uses golf cabeling and a willwood one at 120 I was contemplating but you need 14 or 15" wheels. It all gets more complicated as the Clover is mid engineed .... I might stick with the inboard calipers.
