I just finished with the brake issue on my 33.
I have now 304mm disks with Brembo 4pot calipers out of a 3.0 ltr GTV ( which are the same calipers as the Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo, the Ferrari 360 Modena, the Alfa MiTo and the new Giulietta ).
Although I had finished the installation a few days ago, I couldnt give you any feedback as I was bedding in the new disks and pads before any hard braking.
Last night, I gave it a good test to see whats what.
Normal driving - normal braking - the car feels exactly the same as with the original calipers and original size disks (200mm).
The pedal drive is more than it used to be, but that was expected due to the bigger calipers.
Now on hard braking, that is where you notice all the difference ! The car WILL stop at any speed !
In the past, with the original brakes, I couldnt get the car to stop efficiently if I was going over 80 - 100khms. Also I couldnt get a wheel lock at all.
Now I can stop the car efficiently while driving over 160khms and if I want to and I push hard enough I can get a wheel lock as well !!! Wheel lock is not the most efficient way to stop - actualy its the worst way to stop - but just so you can see how much better these brakes are !
Morover, the rear end of the car wont tip up causing you to loose control of the car, and it looks fantastic to see those big brakes under 17" wheels as well
