pistons and heads
trying to make sense of accumulated spares
i have a set of spare heads of a 1186cc and the valves are flush with the face of the heasd(have they been machined once too often?)
i have a set of 1490cc heads and at the piston area the valves are recessed into the heads
i have a set of pistons out of a 1.7 (87mm) and they have a really deeply concave top
does this mean that in later models the valves and pistons dont clash when the timing belts let go or are they some sort of low compression turbo type pistons ?
