Will Spider/GTV front seats fit into a Sprint ?

Hi guys,

I've got a 1986 Sprint with quick-wear fabric on the seats (you know, the black fabric with green spots that sort of dissolves after a while).

I've been offered a set of front seats from a 'new' GTV.

Anybody know if they'll fit / can be modified to fit ?

not much from alfetta fits alfasud.
i once put alfasud ti seats into a sprint and gave myself a stiff neck from the bending action of getting in and out.
i ended up selling the car to a smaller person.
the sprint has a very low roof and the seats are very slim

I think you could make them fit. I once fitted Recaro SR seats into my Sprint. I bought a pair of old Alfa Sprint seat runners, welded flat brackets to the bottom of the Recaro seats and then bolted it all together. Seats worked and looked great.

I'd make the effort for a pair of leather '90's GTV seats since they look fantastic...............but maybe dont give enough grip
