Mark,

if you put the car in the lounge whilst renovating the house - you could work on the car whilst waiting for coat of paint to dry - no?

No new updates I'm afraid,I've been flat out getting the new shed ready and the crap wet weather is not helping with ground works😡but it will be full steam ahead once I'm sorted👍

Hi maxiboy,
I have been flat out lately, but mostly with renovating a house and getting the barn ready. But I do have the Alfa at the new barn and work has recommenced. I installed a 2 post lift aswell to complete the project.
At the moment I'm working on the rear bumper. There's a small bit of cutting and fiberglassing to be done but nothing major to get it to fit.
The plan after that is to get the front bit of plumbing for intercooler and radiator sorted and possibly get the Subaru cluster mounted in the dash and look at getting the wiring loom back in to make everything is good before I strip it down to finish off the bodywork.
But hopefully I get more time from here on in to finish it off😊👍

Photo bucket is acting up🙈
This is roughly going to be the ride height for the back to make the wheels look someway normal in the arches😬

Hi guys,I've been trying to get the dash ready in the alpreza. The position of the seat and pedals of the Subaru chassis wasn't really centered with the old position of the Alfa pod. Originally I was going to chop down the Subaru clocks and fit them into the Alfa surround, and add a separate fuel and water temp.but now I've decided to lengthen the Alfa surround and fit the complete set of Subaru clocks inside. This positions everything more central and is a much better set up.

I will eventually get the complete dash flocked with all the vinyl removed but for now it was the only thing holding the dash together.

Once I've everything in place I fiberglassed it up to add a bit of strength into the dash again. I also fibreglassed around the glove box before I took off the vinyl as it's badly cracked and broken.
Plenty of more fiberglassing to be done yet🙈

Well that was a Sunday morning well spent. Hats off to you. Absolutely AWESOME!

(I'm thinking of sticking the engine from Civic Type R in my GTV when the engine finally lets go)
