Re: Photos of our Suds Sprints and 33s
For anyone who's interested in my Sprint, here's a bit more info...
1984 'A' reg 1.5 Green Cloverleaf. Capodimonte White, with Black/Green cloth trim. I've owned it since 1994 and it had a full strip down bare metal restoration 97-98. Since then its only been used during the summer, dry stored during winter, only covered 2000 miles since the restore. 65700 miles only with full Alfa Service History. During the restore many new parts were fitted: Brake discs/pads, lines, hoses. Suspension bushes, new Koni dampers all round, new Alfa exhaust. Alloys refinished and new Michelin TRX tyres fitted. Engine was overhauled by an Alfa trained mechanic, new cambelts etc.
It is a concours car, the underside paint is as good as the top! Its white underneath over stippled stonechip spray. Was thoroughly Waxoyled after the restore and later Sprint front wheelarch liners fitted also.
It won 3 prizes at National Alfa Day in 1998/99, haven't shown it since due to work commitments. Tax until end October 2006, MOT until end May 2007. A file full of all bills since new, heaps of photos of the restoration, books, brochures etc all included in the sale.
Probably one of the best original spec Sprints left in Europe.
