Front trailing arms

I have a few front trailing arms (crossmember to hub, the one with one bush) lying around and have noticed that they are different sizes. From bolthole to bolthole, the ones on my car (a 87 1.5 sprint) are 58Cm. On a 88 1.7 sprint I measured them at 55Cm. Can anyone explain this, and advise as to which one is correct for a outboard braked 1987 1.5 QV.

Re: Front trailing arms

I noticed recently in my 33 manual that there were some funny wheelbase and track differences between the different models. The series 1 or 2 4x4 models had a wider rear track than the 2wd cars, okay, that's understandable. But why did the 2wd 1300cc models have a 10mm shorter wheelbase than the 2wd 1500 and 1700cc cars? And a front track that was up to 30mm wider, when the rear track was up to 5mm narrower?

Re: Front trailing arms

Not sure for Sprint but Alfa 33 before 1988 had longer front trailing arms than after 1988. I think that other parts of suspension are the same.
