33 1.7ie Engine Stabiliser Bar

Hi Guys

could somebody do me a favour and take a peek at the way the engine stabiliser bar is mounted. The bolt on section of mine is a "u" shaped. When looking from underneath the car does it fit so that the "U" channel is down or up? Or, is the bush housing tube up or down?

I have an engine oil leak (RH bank) that is causing the rubber bush to deteriorate. Replaced the bush but forgot which way it goes back.

I have read that the 16V bar and bush is much sturdier. Are their any real benefits to changing over? Would it be less susceptible to absorbing oil?
