Sad news ...

Still in shock as I write this, I was fortunate to meet a guy by the name of Cris Thackaberry (Wrexham) on Sunday last... I received an email tonight telling me that Cris has passed away suddenly.

I don't know if anyone here knew Cris, he discovered Alfa's around 10 yrs ago and fell in love with the marque, I only got to know him over the past couple of weeks as he was my contact for the Giulia's I had recently sold to Richard Owen (classic 2600 Alfa Racer).

I met Cris at his workshop, full of all the things we love, he was working on a Sud when we arrived, there was sprint, spider, giulia, bertone coupe... the list goes on.

Sad news indeed and in truth has me questioning my own mortality this evening... ...

There is little else to say at this point, except I was fortunate to spend a couple of hour's in Cris's company, he reminded me so very much of several good friends here on the forum and in life... he was full of life and loved his Alfa's.

Take care friends... look after your health.

Good god. Shocking !! Any clue as to how/what?

Life chucks this crap at us, and always seems to do it to nice people too. R.I.P.
