Its so good seeing my old car is still alive and well. Its one of 2 cars out of the 50 odd I've oned that I regret selling. It took me and my mates to nurburgring, did several laps, until the brake fluid boiled, and then took us home. Didn't miss a beat. It was also unbelievably solid, never welded and used to sailed through its mot.
I sold it in 2004. Be great to see it mot'd and back on the road
Hello again gez110! Yes, she's definitely alive and well. She's still a solid little car, with just one small patch done to the floor beneath the driver's seat a couple of years ago. She's ticking over onto 89,000 miles now. I'll be sure to keep you posted of her progress!
I have to ask, do you have any old pics from when you owned her? I've got loads of old reciepts and MOT's and tax discs, but no old photos! Also, do you know who you bought the car from/or sold it too? I love learning the the history of my motors!
If you're after some hot round black stuff, and like the Yokie's, the Parada spec 2's are a very nice tyre, and much better priced,
Toyo offer some great street legal alternatives too, from the t1r to the 888's etc
Try Camskill's, they are usually very competitive and great service too.
Thanks, Shrew. They're selling Toyo R888's for £81 a corner, that's better than the £105 I found for Yoko's!
I'll keep searching!
