Could you share a few details about how your engine came together....
I acquired Paul Sandiford,s engine of Collin, Belts had been damaged and the management
system was shot,
I have since had the engine stripped and it is what it was claimed to be, the only fault being
a split piston ring, original rings were arias, ordered a set and the engine is in the process of
being put back together, all parts checked etc.
1830cc block with modified oil ways,
Heads, Alfa 16v, Pete Burgess modified
Crank, Nick Humpries, Forged, Cross drilled, balanced and tuftrided.
Conrods, Cunningham with cosworth bolts,
Inlet manifolds one off fabricated, quite tall, apparently increases low down torque.
Carbs, 48mm dellorto with 40mm chokes
Camshafts, Lahoma, one off race spec,
Sump, BLS large capacity, baffled and gated.
