Re: New suspension for Sprint QV 1.7, advice appreciated
My father fitted Spaxs to the rear out on the street! No big deal really. Bushes are a really pain in the arse as you need to press them in. You can use a bench vice and some timber but it will be easier and quicker with a proper press. I replaced the bushes in the front suspension and I did it with a vice and a couple of press "tools" it made from timber. Basically drill a central hole so that the bush will sit flat when being pressed.
Last time I heard Spax did make them for the front. Maybe that was for a 33? Might fit the Sprint.
Konis are everywhere aren't they!
