back to the grind, quite literally tonight
nearing the last stages of what is possibly the worst job, and one i've been putting off for some time, scraping off years of underseal from the wheel arches
floors were bad enough, but at least they were flat
is worht the effort though because;
a/ the underseal can hide probelm areas despite them looking ok.
well there is no b/
if a/ isn't reason enough then leave the resto job for someone else to do. no point cutting corners. will only bite you on the arse
rear turret has some areas that are starting to seperate so will be reapired and seam welded. lowering springs would start to put extra strain on that area given time..
front inner wing where the steering rack pokes through though looked ok, but the underseal was all that covered a little hole.
