templates arrived harvey, should do the job i would think
nothing like a few days off a project to renew enthusiasm. must admit to getting a bit bogged down of late but a weekend tinkering with other things was a nice distraction.
loads of little jobs to do to my new trailer, rewire it, new brake cables, modify the ramps, weld some gussets, sort the hitch.
well at least the hitch is sorted
so went down tonight to see how much more welding is needed seeing as i could do with the welder back home for the trailer......
the circular holes in the floorpans that usually rot out/dissapear were in their usual condition.
passenger side ones were just missing so i made up some fresh ones and welded them in. the little tag/flap in the floor nearby was also welded up. all the better for keeping the weather out
the drivers side ones though, someone had already had a go at repairing
the front one also had a bit of rot at the seam so with my own advice ringing in my head, i practised what i preach. a big patch takes little more work to weld in than a smaller one
holes were chopped, patches made and joggled, then welded in.
another little step done, keeps things ticking along
