The secondary spring is thinner than the one I have from John!
Total advance measures 15/16 degrees on the protractor! There seemed to be some wear on the end stops.
That's ~30 + 8 = 38+
I have the static at 7 now to reduce the detonation a little.(but not good for idling - warms up fast)
38 is a bit extreme.
Well I'll get John's springs in. Probably the thicker spring will help to reduce that detonating at 3000 rpm range.
I also moved the weights stops in just a touch to bring down the total advance a little.
Bit of trial and error will probably be needed here to get the right curve with no detonation, and a good static idle advance (with vacuum advance connected also)
also to note the Bosch dizzy is a 0237 005 004
