dodgy rear wiper on my '33

I am currently experiencing an intermittent problem with the rear wiper on my '33. It stopped working for several weeks and showed up on Alfa Control as a fault. I checked fuses and all was ok. Left it alone for a while and it suddenly started again for a day or two but has since ceased to operate at all. Any ideas please?

Does the rear water squirt thing work?
Have you checked for voltage at the wiper motor plug to see if the problem is with the motor or the rest of the circuit?

Check the wires as they emerge from the body of the car and before where they enter the hatch. You will have to peel back the rubber shroud first.

Combination of what's mentioned above, check to see if there's a voltage at the motor, if not then first place to check is between the body and the hatch as they're easily broken there.
