Hmmm Alfasud and 33 CV Joints - Identical ?

Hi Guys,

This is my first post in this great forum - until now I was just lurking around. I'm a 1983 Alfasud 1.2 SC owner, resotirng it slowly to original.

After a good old "italian tuning" ride, my sud began to emit clonks and squeaks from the right wheel, increasing with wheel speed.

I'm suspecting CV joints, altough their rubber seems perfectly fine.

my question is : are sud and 33 (late 33, 1992 for example) CV joints identical ? if yes, getting a couple has just become so much easier...

Any other ideas regarding my problem ?

As far as I can remember. The joints are not interchangeable... The joints' size is different because of the inboard disc brakes.
