Ideas required please!
I've got a really niggly, annoying problem with my Sprint's rear bumper that I'd love to fix asap.
The rear chrome bumper's rubber insert has broken in the centre and the gap seems to be getting bigger and bigger - I'm guessing that the cold weather may have something to do with this. (See picture below)
My questions are as follows please -
1) What's the best way to remove the insert without damaging it any further?
2) Any ideas on how to get the gap closed up? I've thought about removing the centre piece completely and having a gap both sides but I'd prefer to have it as it left the factory.
A new insert would obviously fix the fault but I'd ideally like to make a permanent fix to the existing one. (I'm pretty sure that glue wouldn't hold them together for long too)
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
