now i know why we span at the gooseneck, that bloody porsche had the cheek to think he could leave us behind
was good fun though
watching the in-board from teds car (shame we didn't get around to doing it for real ted
) then i can see how he's able to take coppice flat, the car turns in!
so do i sort the suspension and make it corner faster and make the spins faster, or just carry on having fun at slower speeds
funny how at the trackside the revs don't sound that high, i was often on the rev limiter over the mountain top, about 7,200rpm i think? but just doesn't sound that high from outside
great vid though eh shrew
wish we had one in the car when ted was in and we went off at hall bends, can see now how close the armco was from the inboard vids. when going around i hardly noticed the tyre walls or armco apart from one time when i wasn't concentrating around chris curve and nearly put 2 wheels on the grass, that would have ended the day for sure!
true, true, true, and true!
it was an awesome day, i had an awesome time, in and around awesome cars, driven by at least on awesome driver!
only kidding Kev, you were the mutts nutts mate, bluddy gret big giant ones,
in fact my Bully Thor would be envious of those marbles mate! ha ha!
anytime, anyday, my throat is soar from the laughter and fun, and thank you again.
if i might make a suggestion, yes sort the suspension and the height out, and spin less, not spin faster, you Nutbag!
to help on your way to handling heaven, i've a very good pair of 195 50 15 Toyo Proxy for you mate, i'll drop them out to you wednesday hopefully.
The Porsche moment had Josh and I in stitches last night watching the video back, your reaction to the indignence of being past is hilarious, he brakes, brakes some more, starts braking pretty hard, 20yds ahead of you, and you're still jammed on the throttle thinking you'll get him back somehow!
ha ha! its timeless, i can watch it over and over , su'flippin'perb!
seriously though, get the word out you need some front 33 sport shocks and springs, shorter and stiffer on the back,
(or move my seat to the boot!)
or over winter get cracking with the 2.25" coilover kits all round?
however, i reckon the stock front 33 dampers will struggle to cope with that much lowering with the spring kits on, so sports dampers still needed i reckon, sorry!
Ted, no mate, not courage, i'd do it all day long, loved every minute! (i think the miss's wishes i'd shut up about it even though she loves your sud too, i think she can foresee expenses!)
Kev however seems to think that the second seat is for a man with notes! and clearly, i had none! ha ha!!!
thanks again to both, if only "groundhog day" was real!
