thank for sharing the positive! ha ha!
i can drive the van all day, i do most bloomin days, but to be fair my vans great, i love it,
i am collecting a 147 tomorrow which with some hopefully easy repairs, will be on the road very soon, and will eventually be adopted by the miss's.
this way, she need not drive my sud or 33! ha ha!
and i have another possible car in the pipeline, but not an alfa, in fact not even italian, so lets not go there eh!
but at least its not a bloomin Land Wobbler! and you call me sick!!!
there is another big positive to the sud coming off the road too, both for me and possibly the other forum guys too, and that is that i could start to sell off the interesting bits that won't be included in the new build when it does take place,
so that could be the brilliant motor, which we're "pretty sure" is a Class F Blueprinted 1500 by none other than BLS,
Ansa Crossover Manifold and good stock system,
the excellent little Compomotive's and Tyres,
the original, and MOT'able front brakes!
the Willans 4 point harness,
the Recaro Buckets are almost certainly spoken for already,
maybe even the wings and rear quarters!
none of these are going back on the car once its stripped, so a chunk of the rebuild will fund itself, hopefully!
but just look at that eh Chris, that lovely camber to the fronts,
they just don't make em like this anymore eh?
and thats why i'm not upset at all at failing the mot, because it means the car will avoid this years winter anyway, and its only onwards and upwards from here!
so what if i had a dodgy wiper, the smell of fuel, and my hazard lights didn't work,
my sud is great, and i love it!
