Front Caliper Adjustment

Took the sud for a test last week after two years off the road, (took quite a long time to find the time to fix blown head gasket then got made redundant and couldn't afford a play car...)

Anyway, it failed on binding brakes so I've got to get to grips with the front calipers; can someone explain how the adjusters work and how to adjust them. I'm sure the answer is on here already, but I've searched and can't find anything.

Thanks in advance, can't wait to get the car back on the road now before end of summer and the weather changes (ha ha)

Thanks in advance,

inner piston - wind in and out with 7mm hex adjuster on top of caliper. use a couple of long extensions to reach from above.
outer piston - 19mm hex to remove plastic cover. then loosen large locknut and adjust by (6mm?) hex key.

If pads and discs are new then use feeler gauges to set pad to disc clearance as per Haynes manual. Otherwise I turn the wheel (with my foot) while adjusting and just as I feel it binding up, back off a fraction so wheel turns freely and move on to next piston.

But if they're binding then could be the handbrake mechanism on one of the calipers is siezed. Fairly typical if the car's been standing.
