Thinking about a quaife diff now

Don’t forget I only had the lower ratio gearbox in a little while and was still getting used to that.
Idle is fine, still smooth.
Pulling away I still stall a few times, you need a bit more throttle, can be a bit embarrassing lol
When going uphill you need a little more throttle as the revs drop, but it picks up easy enough, quickly and responsively.
The combined effect of the box makes it very lively, Pat and Mark should vouch for that
1 fitting issue, the locating hole was a bit too close to the centre, so it had to be drilled out a little, I spoke to the suppliers who kindly offered to do it if I sent it back but were ok with me doing it.
I also queried about the thickness of the material for the clutch bolts to bite into as there is only 3 turns and was told it is very strong
It has a very distinctive sound on turnover and a ring/ting sound when you let off the key.
