But it seems we're changing the original subject...
just a bit but all related with my issue of acceleration problems.
Used 2 gauges, as always, balanced the front and back of each side then left with right, idles nicely on borderline rich.
Linkages appear to open at the same time, sometimes difficult to be accurate with this part as your eyes can't really focus on both close up at the same time!!
I guess just a fraction of a mm opening before the other could make a difference but wouldn't think it would matter once the throttles are open more than 1/4.
It's driving me a little crazy but determined not to spend a small fortune to take it to a garage.
I will get it solved.
Plugs swapped this weekend. 50km highway run at 130km/hr, all smooth, cruises smoothly at low speed also. I can cruise in 3rd at a very low speed and no issues. No trembling.
Just when I open the throttle all goes wrong unless it's above 3000 rpm and then it comes alive.
Feels like someone has swapped the cams for fast road cams!!!
I'm gonna try some larger pump jets that I have spare (currently only .33's).
