Just taken it out for a quick spin (been 5 days since I've driven it, couldn't help myself) and the clutch is working as it used to but it hasn't cured the problem of the revs increasing when I change gear.
Happens mostly in the higher gears but basically everytime I press the clutch to change gear, instead of the revs dropping, they rise quite considerably.
Also most times when I come to a stop and take my foot off the clutch, the revs rise about 500 and stay there.
Tried searching the web for an answer but found nothing.
Thought the throttle might be sticking with it not been driven for 8 years but sprayed loads of WD40 on it and it hasn't made a difference, also it doesn't do it all the time but most times.
