well, i've yet to promote it properly, but i'm set up for car transport now, well almost there, but physically have a huge trailer as you know, now on its 4th version of modification to suit our needs better.
its fully equipped with electric winch, and purposely set up with classic, project, restoration cars in mind, which is why i will tow it with my LWB Van, so that any accompanying spares, parts, extra's can all be done in one trip, safely and securely.
I'm please to say that all i have done so far is Alfa Romeo's, largely thanks to Kev who has been putting the word about and used the service a few times himself too, and forum members will get mate rate too of course, but i do eventually hope to make a moderate living from this side of the trade.
i feel that if there is a guy floating round the country shipping alfa's/parts everywhere, we all benefit, we all needn't fear that that vital part to complete the rebuild is 300 mile away, and all the barn finds and unfinished projects, can be unearthed and saved hopefully.
you should have seen the series 2 33 i collected the other day, it was a pleasure to do the job and deliver it to its new owner who has a plan to keep it for life once completing a very very thorough (Kev like) rebuild, brilliant!
so all i can ask is that word gets around really mate, thank you very much, all set up, and ready and waiting for work.
i'm still doing everything else of course, pipework as and when, and i've become a real wheel hoar recently, so refurbing wheels and all sorts of parts at the mo too, something to do if i'm not on the road eh!
thanks mate, apreciate the thought,
let me know when i can join the midlands wing of your empire mate? ha ha!!!!
