Hi Liam, I,m good thanks yes engine is at machine shop at the moment, i stripped it down just to check it over, i found that the crank had some really strange marks on it on the bearing surfaces, they looked like fracture marks. I had a 1500 crank & bearings that had been ground so decided to go with that! the block as been decked and the pistons machined to raise the compression back up, it will now be a 1600cc. the heads are away getting welded as they had some bad pits near the combustion chamber very close to the fire ring on the gasket. didnt think it was worth the risk of leaving them best getting it sorted now, also putting mappable ignition system on it and poss throttle bodys with stand alone engine management at a later date! so getting there!! how you getting on with yours?
