Yep the car is still alive and well. I've had it now almost 5-years after buying from Colin. I sold it around 3-years ago and then bought it back one night over the phone for the same price i paid for it. Anyway, the pic above was taken last April or May i think. All the files of work done is still with the car including those magazine articles mentioned above. The car is pretty much in the same condition as it was when i bought it from Col. The rear arches are starting to go (Under the plastic) and there is bubbling at the screen and sunroof but to be honest its been like that for years. Its always been garaged.
The engine is super sweet still and handles like a kart. We changed the rear springs to standard ones as we found the Spax ones too low. It puts a huge smile on your face when you drive the car and it gets lots of attention.
The bad bits: The MOT has expired (But it can be renewed) and the front brakes are terrible and 1st & 2nd syncro are worn. Its still perfectly drivable tho. You just have to slot 2nd slowly. There is an excellent gearbox, calipers and disks available with the car and there might be some other parts also. (Cant remember)
Interior is in super condition and all in all its probably the most honest sud around with the most extensive history of any one i've ever seen. 12,500pounds of bills over the years. Even the original restoration pics are still there.
Anyway, anyone interested you can email me on jonathan . firstname.lastname@example.org
(I put a space to avoid spam. There is no space) and i'll email many more pictures and details.
I dont really want to sell it but i have too many cars and i'll send my Lancia Delta Integrale home to replace it
Besides everyone loves a happy ending
